Sushant Singh Rajput & Irrfan Khan to Star in Homi Adajania's Next Film [WATCH]

The Kai Po Che famed actor, Sushant Singh Rajput, will be seen sharing the screen with actor Irrfan Khan in filmmaker Homi Adajania's next untitled project. However, the female lead of the film is yet to be finalized.

Though there were reports of actress Kangana Ranaut starring in the film, Adajania has rubbished the rumours and clarified that the search is still on. The Finding Fanny and Cocktail famed director confirmed about the same on his Twitter account and stated that there has been a lot of speculations about his next film and he wants to make it clear to the fans that he has not signed any actress for the role.

According to Times of India, the film will be of a romantic genre where Rajput will be seen as a protégé of a rockstar, enacted by Khan. The shooting of the film is likely to commence after a few months as the duo is currently busy with earlier commitments.

Rajput is currently busy with Indian cricket team's current captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni's biopic titled M. S. Dhoni: The Untold Story. Due for release on September 2, 2016, the film is being directed by Neeraj Pandey. Besides, he also has Badlapur famed producer Dinesh Vijain's Raabta opposite actress Alia Bhatt. While talking to Bollywood Life, a source said:

"The film will be jointly directed by Homi Adajania and Dinesh Vijan and will release early next year. The actors will be playing the protagonists whose love spans over two different eras."

On the other end, Khan is all set to begin filming for a Bengali-English bilingual film, No Bed of Roses. The film will be directed by Mostofa Farooki, a Bangladeshi filmmaker. In addition, the Khan starring Hollywood film Inferno, also featuring Tom Cruise, is slated to release on October 28, 2016. The film has been incorporated on the 2013 novel of the similar name written by Dan Brown. Prior to that project, the Piku actor was seen in the Hollywood film, Jurassic World.
