'Avatar 2' Sequel: Will James Cameron's Epic Fantasy Film Show Neytiri’s Expanded Family?

James Cameron's epic fantasy film, Avatar 2 is one of the most-awaited films that was earlier scheduled to be released by the end of 2017. However, the recent updates show that the film that will show Neytiri's expanded family might take a little longer than expected.

The production of Avatar 2 is already in full-swing. It has already been announced that after the release of Avatar 2, Cameron will not taking much time to release Avatar 3.

According to The Wrap, 20th Century Fox confirmed that the release date for Avatar 2 has been pushed back as Cameron is working in creating new CGI technology. This will allow him to shoot underwater in a way which the world has never seen before. It was earlier reported by MStars News that Cameron is currently focusing more on the story and the technology, rather than discussing the release date of the film.

In a conversation with Montreal Gazette, Cameron explained that for him and the entire crew, the most important fact in the science-fiction film, is that once they all the three films were done, they will release all the sequels about a year apart.

"But I don't consider that to be as important as the fact that when we get all three films done, we drop them a year apart. I call it a meta-narrative that runs across the three movies. Each film stands alone, but it also tells one much larger story."

Now the recent speculations suggest that the upcoming film will focus more on Jake Sully (played by Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (played by Zoe Saldana). How will they both adapt a life in the Pandora after the events shown in 2009's Avatar? It was shown in the first film that Jake almost died but with the help of the tree of souls, he was saved.

Breathcast reports that Avatar 2 will show how Sully, who is now permanently inside his Na'vi avatar, will marry Neytri and will lead the Pandora as their chief. Now, if these two prominent characters are going to get married then, then are chances that more members from Neytri's family will come and give their blessings to the newly married couple.

Well, the plot thicknes but fans will have to wait for another year to see the film on the big screen.
