Ben Affleck Confirms Geoff Johns Collaboration! Are They Working on Batman Solo Film? [VIDEO]

We already know that Ben Affleck will reprise his role as Bruce Wayne in the Dark Knight's highly anticipated solo film, but is it possible that the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star will also direct the DC movie? Affleck has just confirmed that he is currently collaborating with DC Entertainment CCO Geoff Johns on an upcoming project, and everyone wants to believe that it is the Batman reboot!

Affleck, along with BvS costars Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Holly Hunter and Laurence Fishburne, spoke to DC All Access about the upcoming film and the Argo actor admitted that he has become good friends with Johns.

"Geoff Johns is a brilliant guy. I consider him to be the most valued resource on all things comic book," Affleck stated before sharing that Johns insists that he is responsible for every excellent aspect in the comic books.

"Every time I like something in a comic I mention, he goes, 'Oh yeah, I wrote that.' Now I just think he's bullsh---ng me, because he says he wrote everything," he revealed with a laugh.

It certainly sounds like Affleck and Johns have established more than just a friendship, as the Gone Girl star also confirmed that they are currently collaborating on a project.

"He and I are working together on something and I really am excited about it and I love him," Affleck said. "He's the best."

But what exactly are Affleck and Johns working on? There are speculations that the project might be the highly anticipated Batman solo film, where Affleck has been rumored to co-write the script with Johns.

Although it has practically been confirmed that Affleck and Johns are collaborating for the Batman movie, is it possible that the Gone Baby Gone director would also helm the project? Affleck has previously stated that he would be interested in directing a DC film, although he didn't mention whether it would be the Batman movie.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will premiere on March 25 while the untitled Batman film is scheduled for release in 2018.
