'Breastaurant' Trademark Registered by Bikinis Sports Bar & Grill in Texas: Sorry Hooters, Doug Guller and Sexy Waitresses Officially Own Racy Restaurant Term!

Sorry Hooters, but the racy "breastaurant" trademark is officially taken! Reports confirm that the Texas-based restaurant franchise Bikinis Sports Bar & Grill owns the exclusive rights to the cleavage-inspired term. The restaurant chain's founder Doug Guller announced the exciting news in an official "breastaurant" press release last week, and he's excited to see how the trademark will skyrocket business with his sexy, bikini-clad waitresses!

Thanks to the increased popularity of "attractive, scantily clad girls serving beer and chicken wings" idea first introduced by big-name restaurants including Hooters and Twin Peaks, "breastaurant" has become a common term in the eatery industry. And Guller decided to profit off of that. The founder/CEO of Bikinis Sports Bar & Grill stated in a press release last week:

"We're really excited about receiving this federal trademark. Our team has worked hard over the last seven years to offer a unique experience to our fans. It just further solidifies that Bikinis Sports Bar & Grill is America's ONLY breastaurant®."

Now, Guller and Bikinis (which hires waitresses to prance around in low-cut bikini tops and short jean skirts) plans on expanding from 14 to 50 eateries in the next five years.

And Guller's on a role - less than a year ago he purchased Bankersmith, TX and renamed it Bikinis, TX. He told Eater that he plans on transforming it into one "big playground"...

Drew Neisser of Renegade Marketing Group tells ABC: "Hooters should be very scared. The category can only grow so much. Tilted Kilt and the others are stealing Hooters' customers."
