The premiere of Game of Thrones' season 6 is officially less than a month away, and fans of the epic fantasy show are craving for more information regarding the story's future, with book and series lovers totally in the dark about what's happening. This weekend, HBO released a new promo trailer, "March Madness" and in it, Jon Snow's death seems to cover Westeros.

According to fan site Winter is Coming, HBO made the bold and unlikely move to release the latest footage of GoT last weekend during the 2016 NCAA Tournament, and while the clip's fairly short at only about 30 seconds, it still has a lot of new little bits of footage. Still, it must be said: Kit Harington's Jon Snow, whether dead or alive, is nowhere to be seen in the latest teaser.

Now, interestingly enough, it seems like things are about to get even darker for some of the most iconic characters from the show based on George R. R. Martin's book series A Song of Ice and Fire, as fans of the novels continue to wait for the sixth installment, The Winds of Winter.

In the death-atlon shown in the new teaser, Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) can be heard talking about how scary it is to be in the "big game" now, though it's unclear who he's talking to -- could it be Daenerys (Emilia Clarke), who was last seen surrounded by an enemy khalasar?

Jonathan Pryce's High Sparrow (who's totally on Cersei Lannister's death list these days) can be seen speaking about how everyone deserves death, and Jaqen H'ghar (Tom Wlaschiha) tells the recently blinded Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) that, whatever happened, a new face must be added to the House of Black and White's Hall of Faces, which is to say someone will have to die on that side as well.

This is in tune with the heavily promoted teasers surrounding the Hall of Faces, which have included posters and videos.

Game of Thrones will return to HBO on April 24.
