The Walking Dead' Season 6 Spoilers Twitter Reacts Lauren Cohan Maggie GreeneTwist!

AMC continues with mid-Season 6 of The Walking Dead. Twitter had lots to say about Maggie Greene (Lauren Cohan) and Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus)'s shocking twist as they went up against The Saviors.

In our previous recap, Rosita (Christian Serratos) Daryl were being lectured by Denise when an arrow suddenly struck her eye. Dwight (Austin Amelio) reappeared, holding Daryl's crossbow and Eugene (Josh McDermitt) hostage. As Rosita and Daryl returned fire, Eugene took a bite out of Dwight before he took a bullet for Abraham (Michael Cudlitz). Knowing the team has to retaliate, Carol couldn't continue killing and left Alexandria.

In our recent recap, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Morgan (Lennie James) went off in search of Carol, while Daryl left Alexandria to seek revenge for Denise's death. Elsewhere, Carol found herself in shoout with the Saviors on the road. Unfortunately, with Glenn and Michonne captured by the Saviors, Dwight had the upper-hand and shot Daryl at point-blank range. Rick came back to Alexandria empty-handed, but only to hear Maggie screaming in pain.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Reedus teases what happens in next week's finale, "That episode is the most hardcore episode you've ever seen on the show. Ever. And it's so well directed [by exec producer Greg Nicotero] and it's so well played out. And so terrifying. It's so good. A lot of effort went into making that the best episode we've ever shot on this show."
