The Netflix series Making A Murderer has fans on the edge of their seats waiting to see what is going to happen next. Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey were charged with the rape and murder of Teresa Halbach. Avery's lawyer Kathleen Zellner has come across a few new suspects in the case that she will be bringing up.

Halbach's car was found on the Avery property as well as other items according to the police, Manitowoc County and police officers felt that Avery was behind the crime. Law enforcement officials fought tooth and nail to prove that he committed the crime and planted evidence. Now more than ever, the two are ready to clear their names.

According to Newsweek, Zellner has revealed that she a few suspects in mind when it comes to the Holbach case.

"We have a couple," Zellner tells Newsweek. "I'd say there's one, leading the pack by a lot. But I don't want to scare him off, I don't want him to run."

Zellner shred her frustrations explaining that police officials and Avery's defense team didn't adequately investigate Halbach's life like they were supposed to. She is currently hard at work and believes she can prove Avery's innocence without a shadow of a doubt. She is currently planning new forensic tests and finding leads to pursue.

The site reports that Zellner is also ready to prove that fault lies with defense attorneys Dean Strang and Jerry Buting for failing to bring across that Halbach left the property alive.

A new season of Making a Murderer is currently in the works so hopefully fans will get to see this all play out sooner rather than later.

Readers, what do you think? Will Kathleen Zellner be able to finally get Steven Avery from behind bars? Sound off below!
