‘Ride Along 2′ Digital HD: Olivia Munn, Kevin Hart, Ice Cube DVD/Blu-Ray Release Date!

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment will release their buddy comedy Ride-Along 2 on Digital HD. Check out the special features featuring Ice Cube, Kevin Hart, and Olivia Munn before the official Blu-Ray and DVD release date.

From the official plot synopsis, Ben (Hart) has just graduated as a police rookie. Wanting to be a detective like his brother-in-law, Ben's dreams are squashed by James (Cube), who still doesn't think he's up for the task. As the two follow-up on a lead in Miami, their plans suddenly go awry . Not only is their major case being derailed, Ben's adding is coming up soon!

In an interview with Refinery 29, the former Daily Show correspondent discusses moving from an ensemble drama, The Newsroom, to the hilarious comedy sequel, ""It was strange, specifically [to go from] The Newsroom, which is, like, word-perfect, to improv-ing and stuff on Ride Along. I actually wasn't sure if it was something I should be doing next, and then I asked Jon Stewart, who I go to for advice. The first thing he said was, 'Kevin Hart is an amazing human being. You don't always have to do Sorkin and Soderbergh. Go have fun with these guys.' I was like, 'Okay!' That was a big catalyst for me to do the movie.""
