Prison Break Season 5 Spoilers: Will Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell Meet Mike Scofield?

Because nostalgia goes a long way with audiences, Fox has plans underway for the revival of Prison Break. In the upcoming Season 5, will Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) and Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) meet someone named "Mike Scofield?"

As we previously mentioned, Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies) has moved on with her life, raising Michael's child with her new husband (Mark Feuerstein). When clues surface that Michael (Miller) is still alive, Sara teams up with his brother Lincoln (Purcell) to mastermind the "biggest escape ever." But in order to make the plan work, three of Fox River State Penitentiary's most notorious escapees, T-Bag (Robert Knepper), C-Note (Rockmund Dunbar) and Sucre (Amaury Nolasco), are called back into the action.

According to TV Line, with production coming up, casting directors are looking into Mike Scofield, who happens to be Michael and Sara's 7-year-old son. Mike Scofield Jr. is described as "cool as a cucumber" and "far more discerning than his years."

Because everyone presumes Michael is dead, Sara's new husband Scott (Feuerstein) is the only father that Mike Scofield Jr. was ever known. We can only speculate that Lincoln is still involved in Mike Jr.'s life because he "in a way worships the memory of his fallen father."

We also mentioned, Paul Adelstein will indeed reprise his role as Paul Kellerman. The site also teases, "that the Secret Service agent-turned-congressman is now working at the State Department."

In our MStars News interview, Callies dished about her return as Sara Tancredi, "It's such a fascinating, creative challenge to resuscitate something that I buried such a long time ago. There has been a lifetime for me between the end of Prison Break and now, the whole Walking Dead world. My son wasn't even born, my daughter was just a baby. I feel like a completely different person."

The Prison Break revival will return to Fox sometime in 2016.
