The San Francisco Giants battle the Chicago Cubs in Game 1 of the series on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 2:20 p.m. ET at Wrigley Field in Chicago, Ill. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Thursday afternoon baseball game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
Heading into mid-Week 2 of the 2013 MLB regular season, Bleacher Report sports columnist Justin Onslow predicts the MLB team power rankings. The Giants head into the 2013 regular season at the no 5 spot - as Onslow points out, "Despite a statistically slow start, the Giants are 6-3 and tied with Arizona atop the NL West. The Diamondbacks will be a team to watch this year, but San Francisco and Los Angeles will likely pull away by the All-Star break."
The Giants currently hold a 6-3 winning record, having played the LA Dodgers, the St. Louis Cardinals, and Colorado Rockies.
The Cubs snag the meager no 29 overall spot (out of 30 teams). According to Onslow, "Starting pitching is a big component to winning baseball, but offense and relief pitching have to at least be serviceable. Chicago hasn't gotten much from its bullpen or lineup the start the year, and a 3-5 record is the result."
The Cubs currently hold a 3-5 winning record having played the Pittsburgh Pirates, Atlanta Braves, and Milwaukee Brewers.
The ball game will be broadcasted live on CSN, but fans can listen in on the radio at KCS 1300, KNBR, CBS, WGN, WSCR, and ESPN 1050.
