'Game of Thrones' Star Jessica Henwick Joins Finn Jones In 'Iron Fist' As Colleen Wing

The highly anticipated Iron Fist has just casted yet another key role in the Netflix series, and it looks like one of the most gifted knights of the High Garden will be joining forces with a dangerous femme fatale from Dorne! Game of Thrones actress Jessica Henwick has just been cast as Colleen Wing opposite Finn Jones' Danny Rand!

According to Entertainment Weekly, Henwick will play Colleen, who is described as "an invaluable ally to Iron Fist." In the comic books, the character wears a revealing white jumpsuit and actually aided Danny in his battle against the Cult of Kara-Kai. She also works closely with Misty Knight and Luke Cage, who is set to star in his own Netflix show due out later this year.

Henwick appeared in the fifth season of Game of Thrones as Nymeria Sand, one of the Sand Snakes and daughter of Oberyn Martell (Pedro Pascual). The English actress is also best known for playing Jessika Pava in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and her character has proven to be one of the fan favorites in Episode VII. Henwick's Jessika is featured in the spin-off novel The Weapon of a Jedi: A Luke Skywalker Adventure, where she is revealed to be a follower of Mark Hamill's character.

Iron Fist will follow Danny's return to New York City and his eventual turn to crime-fighting alongside Luke Cage, Daredevil and Jessica Jones. It was initially rumored to debut in 2016, however the new series may now be moved to next year. Scott Buck of Dexter has recently been confirmed to be the Iron Fist showrunner, while Marvel has just confirmed that Jones will star as Danny.

Iron Fist is expected to air on Netflix by 2017.
