In an alarming move, a former Universal Music Group (Santa Monica) employee filed a lawsuit Tuesday in a Los Angeles Superior court, stating that companies so called “anything goes policy” which included ramped drug and alcohol use, created a less than pleasant work environment, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The plaintiff, a 41-year-old female who began working at UMG as security guard in 2010, claimed that "infiltrated with pervasive drug use where you could smell marijuana seeping from various offices and openly used in common areas, and lounges."

If her claims about open drug use in the office were not alarming enough, in her complaint the suing former UMG employee said that she witnessed several celebrities partaking in illegal drug activities.

The Hollywood Reporter reported, “She says she personally witnessed drug use or drug paraphernalia by Macy Gray, guests of Jamie Foxx, MC Ren, rapper T.I.'s entourage and heard about drug use when Adam Levine visited.” WOWZERS!

According to the complaint, her work environment was compromised when artists and high-profile celebrities began visiting the premises with drugs in hand and oftentimes offering drugs to her, (which she refused.)" The former UMG security guard said that she complained to her superiors about the drug infested work environment, however; she also alleged that UMG executives participated in the raucous behavior.

According to her claim, the plaintiff stated that she "became torn between her professional integrity and losing her job."

In another detailed recount, the formed UMG employer recalled a time were the pungent smell of marijuana leaked out of rappers T.I and Future’s recording studio. She said, the rappers were working late and was told that it was going to be "another busy night," “and later had trouble with T.I.'s bodyguards when she requested they move vehicles to the designated parking area. The request was refused, reportedly because the bodyguard said, "I gotta be able to get this boy outta here if a shootout or something goes down."

You would think that the marijuana smoke would linger, however the plaintiff said that the Universal Music Group Santa Monica offices were infused with the fragrance of burning incense and candles to mask the odor of the LOUD.

If drugs and alcohol at the workplace weren’t inappropriate enough, the former security guard also claimed that there were numerous accounts of sexual activity.

According to the Hollywood Reported exclusive, "UMPG employees were complaining about finding bras hanging in the studio and people being found passed out in the showers after partying and drug use," states the lawsuit. "Plaintiff found condoms plastered in the men's bathroom while on patrol. She began witnessing UMPG employees engaged in intimate touching and grinding, involving buttocks and genitalia."

The former employee said that she mad verbal and written complaints about the issues described in her formal court documents, however she was “she received a call from the operations manager at her security company, who informed her at a meeting that he was aware of her written complaints and told her that she was suspended.”

She's seeking protection under California's whistle-blowing statute and alleging discrimination, retaliation, being subject to unsafe work conditions, harassment, infliction of emotional distress and more. She is demanding an unspecified amount of lost and future earnings, medical bills and general and punitive damages, according the Hollywood Reporter.

A spokesperson for Universal Music Group responded to the Hollywood Reported with a statement:
"While we cannot comment on the allegations between the plaintiff and her employer, we can say that the allegations as they relate to Universal Music Group are absurd."

We are sure this will all unravel soon. Will more bug named celebs be named? What do you think about a work environment such as the one that is allegedly described at Universal Music Group Santa Monica?
