Iggy Azalea is staying positive and optimistic about the months to come despite her fiance Nick Young's cheating scandal. While the "Team" singer didn’t address the controversy at the iHeartRadio Music Awards on April 3, Azalea did reveal her motto for 2016 to keep her head up during tough times.

“My motto is just like the song says: ‘I got me,'” she told E! News' correspondent Jason Kennedy on the red carpet. “Just have your own back. I think we worry a lot about people liking our pages or how many followers we have, but you just gotta worry about your own thing."

The 25-year-old Australian artist then shared that "Everybody knows, it's no secret, I had a bit of a turbulent 2015. I wanted to not breeze over that. I wanted to acknowledge how I felt about it, and I just wanted to say, 'You know what? I think it's fine if everybody doesn't support me because I am a believer in myself.'"

During the event, Azalea was spotted still wearing her engagement ring even after her L.A. Lakers player fiance's alleged cheating confession made headlines last week.

According to a Hollywood Life source, the "Black Widow" rapper is still not ready to let Young go despite the proof that he cheated on her.

“Truth is, Iggy’s extremely insecure and that’s a big reason why she can’t leave Nick, despite being furious at him,” the source told the site. “This is the first time in her life she’s been head over heels in love and if she gives Nick the boot, she’s afraid she won’t find love like this again."

Azalea definitely didn’t let her emotions show during the ceremony. She looked happy and gorgeous on the red carpet and then closed the show with an epic performance of “Team.”
