Khloe Kardashian is concerned her estranged husband, Lamar Odom, could die if she goes ahead with plans to divorce the former basketball star, according to reports. Even months after Odom was released from the hospital, the Kocktails with Khloe host is still fearful that things could take a wrong turn if she goes through with their split.

The 31-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has been there for Odom ever since the news broke that he had overdosed on drugs and alcohol at a Nevada brothel back in October.

But after the former NBA star was seen partying at a bar on March 26, Kardashian is worried that the 36-year-old troubled athlete could lead himself to death if she’s no longer around.

TMZ reported that the reality star is ready to proceed with divorcing Odom but feels a "tremendous amount of guilt" as it could lead to further substance issues.

Although the athlete's health has made quite the remarkable comeback since he was hospitalized, Kardashian worries that he’s capable of overdosing in the future.

Kardashian cancelled her Kocktails with Khloe shoot this week amid reports the pair had spent the week arguing over his reluctance to get treatment for substance addiction and she is starting to feel like it’s pointless to try getting Odom to addiction treatment.

“Lamar has [always] thought that he would be able to get Khloe back,” a source told Hollywood Life. “And after she got mad at him over his drinking, he is now realizing that he is probably losing any chance to get her back and he is currently OK with it.”
