IDW Publishing continues to fight the future with The X-Files: Season 11 #8.  Can FBI agents Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) stop Gibson Praise's Endgames [Part 3] in writer Joe Harris and artist Matthew Dow Smith's finale installment.

As we previously mentioned, Mulder continues to run away from the law as a wanted fugitive, dodging authorities wherever they may be hiding. After being cleared from all charges, the government continues to keep a close eye on Scully, especially by the all-powerful Gibson Praise. With Gibson controlling the investigative duo like puppets, how long will it take before everyone becomes under his possession?

During the penultimate installment, Mulder found himself with a gun pointed at his head by Walter Skinner. Mulder's closest and strongest friend found himself under Gibson's possession. With Scully on the way, you would expect her to be the calvary but not so this time around. Scully reluctantly brings along Assistant Director Moarles, who is the leader of the faceless Rebels.

Writer Joe Harris delivers a page-turning read as Mulder and Scully confront their climatic showdown with Gibson. Is Mulder doomed to bring about the apocalypse, like the prophecy foretold in Part 2? Or is there a chance that history can be rewritten? The last pages lead to Mulder's fateful decision as Gibson's master plan comes to full effect.

Artist Matthew Dow Smith keeps the fast pace going with his action-packed opening pages. Smith captures the best facial expressions when Mulder and Gibson enter the time vortex. Aided by Harris' snappy dialogue and Jordie Bellaire's glossy colors, Smith illustrates pivotal scenes from the television series and makes the moments his own.

RATING: TAKE ALL MY MONEY ALREADY! TAKE IT!

If you still need a fixing after the The X-Files Revival, readers should definitely pick up The X-Files: Season 11 #8
