Best known for her comedy roles, Elizabeth Banks has been turning into a growing force in Hollywood, from her stint as the main villain in the upcoming Power Rangers movie reboot to taking behind the camera to direct last year's smash Pitch Perfect 2. Now, the woman who played Effie Trinket in the Hunger Games movies takes on a digital comedy platform project: WhoHaHa, a female-centered comedy website!

Introduced through a fun pitch on the website's YouTube channel that includes Banks telling any man to "make his own sandwiches," WhoHaHa won't be focusing solely on Banks as a funny lady in today's world, but its aim is to become a place where women comedians collide.

"Our job at WhoHaHa is to find the world's funnies women and deliver them to you everywhere," Banks says in the video. "We are scouring the web for funny ladies who make your whoha, ha."

In the clip, Banks cites fellow funny ladies like Joan Rivers, Lucille Ball and Carol Burnett as inspiration, naming them as past comedy icons who have changed the comedic industry.

According to AdAge, WhoHaHa will feature original content as well as curated one, bringing in some of the biggest female names in comedy right now, including the likes of Tina Fey, Amy Schumer and Maya Rudolph. The site will also bring in a few of the newer faces of the business, including "My Drunk Kitchen" YouTuber Hannah Hart.

This isn't Banks' first attempt at online comedy: the actress has been hosting her own webseries series, Really Important Questions, for a while, in which she answers things her fans ask her. She also has interviewed a few people for her YouTube channel, including her friend and Hunger Games co-star Jennifer Lawrence, in a section called Ask a Bada$$.

Aside from becoming a leading figure in comedy, Banks has been busy behind the scenes in films as well: she'll reprise her role as director in 2017's Pitch Perfect 3, and she's also set to direct an upcoming Charlie's Angels reboot.
