Ever since the world got introduced to Cardi B on Love and Hip Hop New York, her stardom has taken off. The wisecracking Bronx native won over viewers with her fun personality and hilarious nature. While the reality star first started out as a stripper, she revealed on Khloe Kardashian's FYI show, Kocktails With Khloe, just how she broke the news to her mother.

Cardi B who has since left stripping behind never talks down about her past. While many people may side-eye her for her choices she takes it all in stride.

According to VH1, the reality star stopped by Kocktails With Khloe to talk about her new projects and discuss her stripper past. Cardi B admitted that her mother did not take the news of her being a stripper lightly.

In the clip, Cardi B says that at first she hid her stripping from her mother by saying that she is a babysitter. She told her mother that she was employed at the time by white people who are so rich that they paid her $100 a day to help kids with their homework. LOL.

While her mother believed her initial story, the two engaged in a heated argument and the truth finally came out. Cardi yelled at her mother saying that she was a stripper and things went south very quickly. The reality star explains that her mother was so upset that she pushed her down a flight of stairs.

We all know Cardi B keeps it all the way real so there is no doubt that her mother really did push her down a flight of stairs. The reality star has stated before that her mother is Trinidadian and anyone who is of West Indian descent knows that West Indian parents are strict when it comes to their children.

Luckily for Cardi B, she can laugh about the situation as she now rides the wave of success.
