The Golden State Warriors (69-9) and San Antonio Spurs (65-12), two teams that could potentially win 70 games, will face off two more times during the regular season. These two teams have split their first two meetings, with the home team winning in each contest.

In January, Golden State blew out San Antonio 120-90 at the Oracle Arena. Stephen Curry knocked down six three-pointers en-route to a 37-point performance. Tim Duncan did not play for a San Antonio club that turned in its worst performance of the season. In March, San Antonio was able to extract revenge against Curry and Co. by winning a hard-fought contest 87-79 at the AT&T Center. LaMarcus Aldridge scored 26 points and secured 13 rebounds while San Antonio's defense limited Curry to just 14 points on 1-for-12 shooting from 3-point land. San Antonio opted to combat Golden State's smaller lineup by playing 'small ball' itself. The move paid dividends as Danny Green pestered and frustrated Curry throughout the contest.

Given Golden State's historic run through the regular season, celebrities have been frequenting Oracle Arena. Individual match-ups have dictated the notoriety and number of celebrities at each game. During Super Bowl week, the Oklahoma City Thunder traveled to Oracle Arena and the celebrities came out in full force. During this game, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Drake, Rick Ross, Pharrell Williams, Kendrick Lamar, Michael B. Jordan, Dave Chappelle, Brett Favre and Jim Harbaugh were seen at the game. A matchup between San Antonio and Golden State will not only command high ticket prices on the secondary market, but will also bring out the stars. Oracle Arena has become one of the go-to places for celebrity watching, so fans can expect to see a star-studded cast at the game.
