Nicolas Cage found himself in a brawl with Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil in Las Vegas on Thursday, April 7.

The altercation came after the rocker allegedly attacked a woman in their hotel and the "City of Angels" star was trying to calm him down.

The 52-year-old actor got into a brawl with Neil after the singer was accused of grabbing a woman's hair from behind and pulling her to the ground at a Las Vegas Strip resort.

In a video obtained by TMZ, Cage was heard yelling, “f*cking stop this sh*t, NOW!” Wrapping his arm around Neil’s head and squeezing it against his chest, he whispered something inaudible. Other people are also heard telling the famous duo that they're being filmed on camera.

The site noted that Cage and Neil are good friends and were there together, and the video only shows the end of the fight. The actor was actually just trying to make the rockstar calm down after his attack.

Though police arrived on the scene shortly thereafter, Vince Neil was not arrested. He was instead cited for battery. A spokesperson for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed this what happened.

Police issued 55-year-old Neil a misdemeanor battery summons and he has a June 17 court date.

Neil has a history of assault arrests and was most recently charged with battery and disorderly conduct in 2011 following an altercation with his ex-girlfriend.

The unlikely duo, Cage and Neil, have been photographed together multiple times over the years, including at the singer's now-defunct strip club in 2012.
