Nick Gordon returned to Dr. Phil for his very first interview since Bobbi Kristina Brown’s death, and he was asked point-blank if he murdered Whitney Houston's daughter.

In a promo for the sit-down exclusive, Gordon is faced with questions the world has been asking since the tragedy, including "Tell me what happened the night Krissy went into the coma" and "Did you murder Bobbi Kristina Brown?"

The 20-year-old first spoke with Dr. Phil last year and entered rehab afterwards for drug abuse and depression.

The full episode of Gordon’s interview with Dr. Phil airs Thursday, April 28.

Gordon's name resurfaced in the headlines when his lawyers alleged in March that he "tried to save Bobbi Kristina's life."

Bobbi Kristina Brown remained in a coma for months until she died on July 26, 2015. Her family believes that Gordon is the prime suspect in her untimely death. But the lawyers of the accused reveal that Gordon actually tried to save Brown.

“The truth is that Nick tried to save Bobbi Kristina’s life,” Gordon's lawyers, Jose Baez and Joe S. Habachy, said in a statement given to PEOPLE magazine. “The truth is that Nick cooperated with law enforcement since day one. The truth is that no one loved Bobbi Kristina more than Nick and no one has suffered more as a result of her death than Nick.”

Gordon, through his lawyers, said that he has been "humiliated" and that “the Fulton County District Attorney’s office has tried to make [him] a murderer despite having clear and convincing evidence that Bobbi Kristina’s death was nothing more than a tragic accident.”

His lawyers then ended their statement saying that there is no evidence to tie Gordon to Brown's death. Despite his denial, Brown’s family is continuing with their civil lawsuit against him.

Brown was found unresponsive last January 2015 in her home and was rushed to the hospital. She spent six months in the rehab center and hospice care until she died on July 26.
