Future Comes for Ex, Ciara: Rapper Countersues Russell Wilson's Fiance After 'BBMA' Drama

Looks like Future is coming for Ciara! MStars News has learned that the rapper and former fiance of the singer is counter-suing his baby mama following the Billboard Music Awards drama. If you aren't up to date, Russell Wilson's soon-to-be wife refused to say Future's name while announcing the BBMA nominees.

According to The Jasmine Brand, Future is headed to court to get back at the mother of his son, Future Zahir Wilburn claiming that she's nothing but a "washed-up singer" with a career going down the drain. Future believes that Ci-Ci is suing him for $15 million to keep her name in the headlines and help boost her brand to sell records.

If you weren't aware, Ciara sued Future back in January for defamation, slander and libel. Ci-Ci claimed that Future spoke badly about her parenting skills and made false and defamatory statements over the past during interviews with the media.

The 30-year-old accused her son's father of lying about her publicly to boost his own career, and tour.

Ciara and the rapper welcomed their son back in 2014. Baby Future will be two-years-old in May. The former lovers ended their engagement the same year their son was born.

After going public with her relationship with Russell Wilson back in 2015, the Seattle Seahawks quarterback asked Ciara to marry him during a romantic getaway last month.

So far no comments have been made by Ciara or her fiance, Wilson. The mother-of-one and newly engaged star has been a very busy lady working on her new photoshoot with Essence Magazine. Ciara was in love with the new gig because her issue will be out on Mother's Day.

In the clip below Ciara shared some moments with her son while talking about the excitement of shooting her first cover for Essence.

"Today was awesome everyone in the Essence family was so accommodating. I was really looking forward to this opportunity and I've been looking forward to it for a very long time. Dreams come true, today was a perfect example of that," the singer noted. "It's really special because we're gonna celebrate Mother's Day and the month of Mother's Day so it's pretty awesome."
