The live-action TV adaptation of Neil Gaiman's novel American Gods continues adding more talented actors to its already stellar cast. After nabbing Ian McShane of Ray Donovan in a key role, the Starz series has just snapped up Back To The Future star Crispin Glover as the mysterious Mr. World as well as Justified's Jonathan Tucker for the role of the devious Low-Key Lyesmith!

TV Line reports that Glover will portray the New God, who helps mastermind a massive battle between deities. Although his plan seems very straight-forward, there is more to Mr. World than what meets the eye.

Tucker will play Shadow Moon's (Ricky Whittle) fellow prisoner and cellmate, who helps the young man deal with his incarceration by showing him a new outlook in life. Little does Shadow know that Low-Key is not just a petty criminal. He will prove to be more important in his future than he will ever suspect.

Glover is best known for playing Marty McFly's father in Back To The Future and for his performance as the Thin Man in the two Charlie's Angels films. Tucker has appeared in films like The Virgin Suicides and the Texas Chainsaw Massacre reboot.

American Gods already boasts of an amazing cast, especially with the lead roles. McShane will play the shady Mr. Wednesday while Suckerpunch star Emily Browning is set to appear as Shadow's unfortunate wife Laura Moon. The minor cast includes Sean Harris as Mad Sweeney, Yetide Badaki as Bilquis and Bruce Langley as Technology Boy.

In Gaiman's book, Shadow is an ex-con who finds out that the world is in danger from an impending war between ancient deities and newly created gods of the modern times. Together with Mr. Wednesday, he sets out to help prevent a battle that could change the world as we know it.

There is no word yet on when American Gods will air on Starz.
