5 Thoughts On Jared Leto, Margot Robbie In 'Suicide Squad' Official "Blitz" Trailer!

Warner Bros. released all-new footage of the super-villain team, Suicide Squad. In the upcoming Task Force X movie, check out Jared Leto (The Joker), Will Smith (Deadshot) and Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn) in the official Blitz trailer.

As we previously mentioned, when the government has a mission too hot for the superheroes to handle, they send in the bad guys to take care of the business. In a plot reminiscent of The Dirty Dozen, if the Suicide Squad - which includes the captured band of super-villains Harley Quinn, Deadshot, and Captain Boomerang - survives their deadly mission, their prison sentence will then be reduced.

The lineup also includes Viola Davis (Amanda Waller), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flag), Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang), Jay Fernandez (Diablo) Karen Fukuhara (Katana), Adewale (Killer Croc), Cara Delevingne (Enchantress) in writer/director David Ayer (End of Watch)'s upcoming comic book movie.

5) I Want My MTV!

As we mentioned before, at the 2016 MTV Movie Awards, the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actor was on hand to receive the Generation Award. Then, Smith was joined onstage with his costars, Leto, Robbie, and Delevingne to introduce the sneak peak. Not only did Star Wars: The Force Awakens sweeps the winner's list, the new Suicide Squad trailer featured never-before-seen footage.

4) That Laugh!

This trailer is also the most plot-driven. It looks like the clown prince of crime is the Big Bad here. None of the baddies are running away from The Batman. Nope, they're actually scared of The Joker when they start to hear his laughter echo across the room! Uh-oh is right!

3) You Die!

 It's The Killing actor who gets a chance to shine as Rick Flagg lays down the rules. If someone tries to escape, Flagg (Kinnamen) promises they will die. In the laugh-out-loud scene, when Harley mentions she's known to be quite "vexing," Flagg promises she's going to die. The funny moment ends when Quinn humphs and shrugs her shoulders.

2) The Ballroom Blitz!

Everybody starts taking out their guns when Sweet's The Ballroom Blitz starts playing in the background! When the lyrics state, "And the girl in the corner is everyone's woman, she could kill you with a wink of her eye!" that's when Harley Quinn (Robbie) does her thing and winks at the camera.

1) You Wanna See Something!?!

In the footage, we see Diablo (Fernandez) and Deadshot (Smith) getting into an argument. The arguing stops when Diablo unleashes his fiery powers. Smith is just being himself when he hilariously says, "I was just trying to get you there. No hard feelings right? We good?"

Suicide Squad hits theaters on August 9.
