We have 5 reasons why you should buy The Revenant on DVD here:

5) He Finally Got His Oscar!

The Titanic actor changed the direction of his career when he chose to become Martin Scorsese's protege.Their top-notch collaborations included The Wolf of Wall Street, The Departed, and Aviator. But it was the Babel director who pushed DiCaprio's performance with his long one takes and captured his emotional expressions through the cold extremes.

4) Where's His Oscar!?!

Notice how the Inception actor had very little lines in Mad Max: Fury Road. But when he's given text, Hardy goes all out physically with the facial features and creating a specific voice with his character. The Revenant actor gives a a must-see performance as he debates about the existence of God in his squirrel story.

3) The Bear Attack!

The most brutal and suspenseful scene in the movie has to be when Glass confronts the angry bear. You feel Glass' pain as DiCaprio grinds his teeth and almost bites his tongue as the bear claws at his back. Not even a point-blank shot will take down this bear! And then to make it worse, the bear sits on Glass, crushing him with its tremendous weight!

2) The Director!

Congrats to Iñárritu for winning the Academy award for Best Director two times in a row! With the help of his cinematographer Emmanuel Lubeki, the Amores Perros filmmaker depicts the unforgiving coldness of the unforgiving coldness of the snowy mountains. Using natural lighting, the camera lens focus on the beautiful imagery of the forest landscape.

1) The Special Features!

We also mentioned, supplements to the special features include, "A World Unseen" - A Documentary of The Revenant. Watch as the cast and crew worked around the clock and against the weather to film this epic masterpiece.
