It certainly looks like Scott Lang is officially a part of the Avengers in Captain America: Civil War, as Ant-Man is seen being launched from one of Hawkeye's (Jeremy Renner) arrows in the second trailer. But is it possible for any of the Avengers to help Paul Rudd's character out in his own movie, Ant-Man and The Wasp, with Evangeline Lilly?

Peyton Reed recently attended the Civil War premiere, where he spoke to ComicBook.com on the red carpet. The Ant-Man and The Wasp director was asked if there will be any Avengers popping up in the sequel, but Reed revealed that it is still too early to tell if there are any cameos in the film.

"We've actually been holed up in the room writing the movie - myself, Paul Rudd, Adam McKay, Andrew Barrera and Gab Ferrari, so we're formulating the whole structure of the movie," Reed shared, although he couldn't offer more details about what could happen in the sequel. The director did tease that Ant-Man and The Wasp will feature something completely new.

"I can't really tell you too much yet, except there are going to be things in this movie that you've never seen in any movie before," he admitted before adding, "It's going to be nuts!"

The first Ant-Man film featured Scott's initial encounter with the Avengers through Anthony Mackie's Falcon, who tried to prevent him from getting into one of Howard Stark's old facilities. But will the sequel involve another heist? Reed chose his words carefully in his response.

"There will be some...there will be a little taste of heistiness," he admitted before stating that it probably isn't about stealing another Yellowjacket suit.

"It's ... a little bit of different direction for Ant-Man," Reed concluded.

Captain America: Civil War hits theaters on May 6 while Ant-Man and The Wasp is scheduled for release on July 6, 2018.

Which Avenger do you think should have a cameo in Ant-Man and The Wasp? Let us know in the comments.
