Disturbing text messages have been released that show former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle was willing to pay big amounts of money to have sex with girls as young as 14.

The 38-year-old is arguing to have his more than 15-year sentence reduced, though documents unveiled by prosecutors in his appeals process have revealed the chilling exchanges he had while trying to secure his victims.

“I’ll pay you big for a 14- or 15-year-old,” he told one adult escort he tried to convince to bring him his prey.

On November 9, 2015 a judge sent Fogle away to prison and so far, life has been pretty hard on the former sandwich spokesman. He was beaten in January after he was ambushed in the recreation yard at Englewood FCI prison in Litton, Colorado by an inmate who hates child molesters.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, “[Steven] Nigg, who’s in for a weapons charge, left Fogle with a bloody nose, swollen face and scratches on his neck.”

The 60-year-old man, who walked away from the fight with a small cut to his left hand, was placed in solitary confinement. The man's family told TMZ they're not surprised he attacked Fogle because he had been angry about the amount of child sex predators in the low-security facility.

After rising to fame by losing 200 pounds, in part by eating Subway sandwiches, Fogle is serving 15.8 years in prison after pleading guilty to child pornography charges and having sex with minors. Fogle will also be subjected to lifetime supervised release following the completion of his sentence.

A raid on his Indianapolis home led him to plead guilty to one count each of travelling to engage in illicit sexual conduct with a minor and distribution and receipt of child pornography.
