While Emilia Clarke's best known for her Emmy-nominated turn as Daenerys Targaryen in HBO's hit fantasy show Game of Thrones, the British actress has shown no fear of expanding herself further, and last year she even took on the beloved sci-fi role of Sarah Connor in Terminator: Genisys. As season 6 of her show approaches, will the khaleesi join the Arnold Schwarzenegger sequels again?

The actress is currently promoting the sixth season of Game of Thrones, so we're bound to her more from her as well as the rest of the show's cast. Coming Soon met up with her and directly asked, "Will she be involved in upcoming Terminator movies?"

"No," Clarke said simply. "Can I say that? It's okay. No. Uh-uh. But I have some very different roles coming up."

Terminator: Genysis, the fifth film installment of the franchise started by James Cameron in 1984, did well in the box office but was received so poorly by critics that it currently has a very low "Rotten" rating of 26% on critics aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes. Aside from the generally lackluster reviews, the decision to cast Clarke in the role was also deemed a mistake by fans and critics alike.

Clarke is the third actress to take on the role of Sarah Connor, following the footsteps of Linda Hamilton in the first two Terminator movies and her Game of Thrones co-star Lena Headey in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. In Genisys, the character was also played by Willa Taylor in a different timeline.

Still, Clarke certainly doesn't need the role to succeed. Playing one of the most iconic roles in the HBO series, the actress has arguably become one of the most popular actresses in Hollywood right now. Besides returning to Westeros once more, Clarke has two films coming out this year: period thriller Voice from the Stone and drama Me Before You.

The sixth season of Game of Thrones will premiere on HBO this Sunday.
