The Captain America: Civil War trailer has already hinted on why the Avengers are suddenly at odds with each other, but is it possible that Steve Rogers might simply be angry with Tony Stark for taking a donut that he had wanted for himself? Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. have just considered that possibility in a hilarious video, and even brought along Elizabeth Olsen as a witness to the real reason behind the Dawn of Civil War!

The People video opens with Downey and Olsen getting ready for some snacks when Evans steps in. "Is that the last donut with red, white and blue sprinkles?" he asks Downey, who is obviously not intimidated as he takes a deliberate bite out of the pastry.

Incensed, Evans asks, "What did I tell you would happen if you ate the last donut with red, white and blue sprinkles?"

Downey still refuses to let his guard down and decides to play coy. "I'm a little foggy on it, but it was something like raining down hellfire," he responds.

Behind them, Olsen looks both intrigued and scared as she continues taking bites from her snack. The exchange between Evans and Downey isn't quite over.

"That's right," Evans said, to which Downey comments, "And here I am without an umbrella."

The tension is unbearable as the ominous music rises. "I feel a storm brewing," Evans declares.

Suddenly, Olsen drops her plate and lets out a scream queen-worthy shriek. At this point, the three actors burst into laughter and the tension over the last donut is forgotten.

This isn't the first time that Evans and Downey have tried to settle the whole Civil War deal. The Captain America 3 stars have previously appeared at the Nickolodeon Kids' Choice Awards and engaged in a thumb-wrestling match that did not have a clear winner.

Captain America: Civil War crashes into theaters on May 6.
