We're still a year and a half away from the second installment of the new Star Wars trilogy, and that means a lot of fans will be posing new and increasingly crazy theories -- such as one regarding Darth Vader's reincarnation. As Rian Johnson's Episode 8 continues filming, a new rumor poses the possibility that Daisy Ridley's Rey could actually be Anakin Skywalker.

Redditor LouEvilOne took to the site last week to talk of a possible leak from the script of the sequel, which is currently shooting in London. Supposedly, there are a number of things revealed in it, including how the film's title will be Star Wars: Echoes of the Dark Side and the film will parallel The Empire Strikes Back much like Force Awakens did with A New Hope.

Now, the most interesting (and wild) "leak" of the bunch is how, during the film, Rey is angry at Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) because she, as everyone who saw Force Awakens, thinks he's actually her father. Apparently he then takes a turn on the classic Vader line from Empire and tells her that, in fact, she is his father.

"Rey is the reincarnation of Anakin Skywalker. Luke went to the first Jedi temple to better understand how the process works," reads the rumor. "He learned that the spirit of the chosen one is reincarnated by the Force every time the universe is thrown out of balance, which apparently happens on a semi-regular basis [...] This is why she's so crazy powerful with the Force."

It also states Rey was a virgin birth, like Anakin before her.

This doesn't really sound very plausible, which is saying a lot for a movie saga revolving around space Buddhist warriors. Even if it is truly a leak, Lucasfilm still has time to change the script into something less absurd.

According to The Guardian, other supposed revelations from the script include the reappearances of some of the most iconic characters from the Star Wars universe as Force ghosts, including Ewan McGregor reprising his role of Obi-Wan Kenobi, Frank Oz as Yoda and Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker.

Star Wars: Episode 8 will hit theaters on Dec. 15, 2017.
