Erica Campbell Lands Syndicated Radio Show Following the End of 'Yolanda Adams Morning Show'

Looks like there has been major changes in the world of radio. After the cancellation of The Yolanda Adams Morning Show with Reach Media, a part of Radio One, Praise listeners learned that a new show was coming to town. Erica Campbell of Mary Mary landed a syndicated show just days after the YAMS show had ended.

According to The Jasmine Brand, Campbell's new show is called: GET UP! MORNINGS WITH ERICA CAMPBELL and will be airing the same time Yolanda Adams' show did, which was 6 am to 10 am weekdays. Campbell's show begins on May 10th.

The Gospel singer confirmed the news with a statement that read: "I’m grateful to REACH MEDIA, RADIO ONE, DAN OTERO of GLOBE STAR MEDIA and WARRYN CAMPBELL, CEO of my BLOCK RECORDS, for believing in me and my ability to inspire America to Get Up!"

Reach Media's CEO, DAVID KANTOR said: “ERICA has mastered her craft in music and she’s winning in reality TV and even social media. I’m glad REACH MEDIA and RADIO ONE can provide her access to syndicated radio--another media to dominate and share her inspirational voice.”

Campbell has been in showbiz for over 20 years. She currently has a solo career and is one of the top shows with her family drama, Mary Mary on WE tv.

The shocking announcement comes right after Yolanda Adams and the rest of her morning show team was let go last week. It's unknown why The Yolanda Adams Morning Show wasn't renewed. The show included Adams, Marcus D. Wiley and Minister Anthony "A.V." Valary.

Adams confirmed that her show had been canceled in a statement via Instagram that said:

"Hello Family
 As of this morning THE YOLANDA ADAMS MORNING SHOW HAS transitioned, WE THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR SUPPORT AND Love. WE LOVE ALL OF YOU. Tune in TO SEE THE GREAT THINGS GOD IS NOW DOING WITH US.
 WE LOVE YOU DEARLY!!!
 YOLANDA"
