'Yolanda Adams Morning Show' Ends After Airing for Over 9 Years, Praise Show Cancelled

It's been a few sad days in the world of radio if you're a Yolanda Adams fan. MStars News has learned that the nationally syndicated radio show, The Yolanda Adams Morning Show was cancelled after airing for over nine years. If you enjoyed waking up to Praise in your city during your weekday morning commute, you will no longer hear the show.

According to ABC 6, Reach Media, a part of Radio One, decided to end the show which included Gospel singer, Yolanda Adams, comedian, Marcus D. Wiley, and Minister Anthony "A.V." Valary. The hosts were notified that the show had been canceled last Thursday, April 21 after their final broadcast.

Adams confirmed that the show had been canceled via Instagram. She wrote to her fans: "Hello Family, As of this morning THE YOLANDA ADAMS MORNING SHOW HAS transitioned, WE THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR SUPPORT AND Love. WE LOVE ALL OF YOU. Tune in TO SEE THE GREAT THINGS GOD IS NOW DOING WITH US. WE LOVE YOU DEARLY!!! YOLANDA."

No comments have been made at this time by her two co-host, Wiley and AV.

The show based out of Houston, Texas launched back in 2007. The syndicated show ran through Praise stations including Charlotte, DC, Philly, Atlanta, and many more.

No details have been released explaining why the show wasn't renewed.

Fans of the show have been responding to the cancellation. They left the show warm messages and wished the trio luck in the future.
