Johnson's new show is scheduled to premiere this summer on June 19th on E!

According to Hip Hollywood, Johnson commented on his new gig. "I don't like saying I'm the voice for anybody because I don't like to have that pressure on me but when I feel passionate about something I speak on it," Johnson claimed.

EJ and the City will also feature his sister, Elisa Johnson, as well as Samaria Leah Smith, the daughter of rap legend, LL Cool J. Real estate development heir, Sanaz Panahi, will also be a part of the show.

E! executive, Jeff Olde claimed that Johnson landed a spin-off show because: "EJ continues to be a standout character on #RichKids, with his over-the-top personality and incomparable style, and now viewers will get a chance to follow him on a whole new journey as he embraces his newfound self-confidence and works to build a brand that lives up to his family name."
