If you were like us last night you awaited the release of the highly anticipated album 'Views' by Drake.

Before its release, the Toronto native sat down for an interview with Zane Lowe discussing his creative process and relationships in the industry.

While it's no surprise that the OVO rapper's relationship with Nicki Minaj would be strained because of his beef with Meek Mill, the rapper admitted that their relationship is far worse than we think.

At one point in time Drizzy and Minaj were a thick as thieves. The two rappers who are under the same label had a very close relationship that many people thought went to the next level. While we admit it would have been amazing to see the two have kept things strictly platonic.

According to Bossip, the beef with the MMG rapper has made a friendship between the two Young Money artists difficult to continue. The 29-year-old admitted that he doesn't talk to Minaj anymore.

"I don't really talk to Nicki," the rapper tells Lowe. "She's another person I have a lot of love for, a lot of respect to her and the past and what we built. I understand what love is and I understand a personal situation. She dealt with me how I would expect her to -- with class. I would do the same you know. There were times I was sitting there, waiting to see, you know, how deep is your love? I have respect for Nicki but unfortunately we haven't spoken."

It's a very sad situation being that every Drake fan knows that Minaj has always had a special place in his heart. If the rapper could have had things his way the two maybe could have been together.

Views is officially available on iTunes and if I were you I would listen immediately. All the hard work has paid off and the album is an amazing body of work.
