A new Emeli Sande track has been leaked, the emotional and large "Call Me What You Like."

While the Scottish singer behind "Next to You" has yet to make a huge stateside impact in, she is already massive in her native United Kingdom. Her first solo album Our Version of Events has garnered Sande quite a few awards (she was recently nominated for a few more at the Ivor Novello awards, an annual ceremony where the best compositions are voted on by perfomers and composers), however, the solo effort doesn't seem to be enough to sate rabid Sande fans.

The track was posted onto YouTube on April 13 and brought to Sande's attention via Twitter.

@Bayron_MC wrote "Love ‪@emelisande 's new song ‪#CallMeWhatYouLike | Preciosa!"---"

Sande responded "thanks! but I have no idea how this hot [sic] leaked ...hmm"

The fans seemed to appreciate it, however. Brittany Rosenbrook wrote "‪@emelisande The leak is no good for u but for us, your fans, every drop of new music is like rainfall after a drought & we're soakin it up!"

And Andreas Georgiou asked the obvious question "Does this mean a new album soon?"

Sande has not responded.

While "Call Me What You Like" is bombastic and emotional a la that other famous UK songwriter Adele, Sande's sound is typically the Yin to Adele's Yang. Her songs are usually upbeat and poppy.

"I try and give people a different way of thinking about things, or a positive way of thinking about things," Sande said in an interview with NPR.

What do you think of "Call Me What You Like", the new track from Emeli Sande? Are you pleased with her change in tone?
