HBO continues with Season 6 of Game of Thrones. In the aftermath of Jon Snow (Kit Harington)'s death, author David J. Peterson, the Dothraki & Valyrian Languages Creator, translates the witch prayer spoken from Melisandre (Carice Van Houten).

In our previous recap, though Ramsay sent his soldiers after them, Brienne (Gwendoline Christie) rescued Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) and Theon (Alfie Allen) in the nick of time. As Daario (Michiel Huisman) and Jorah (Iain Glen) continue their search, the Dothraki have discovered who their prisoner, Danenerys (Emilia Clarke) actually is. Knowing there will be retaliation over Jon's death, Davos will need Melisandra, who happens to be a decrepit witch underneath all the glamour.

In our recent recap, as Ramsay went on a killing spree, Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) let loose Danenerys' dragons from their chains. While Theon said farewell to Sansa, his father was murdered by his uncle. Davos Seaworth (Liam Cunningham) convinced the reluctant Melisandra to use her magic on Jon Snow's corpse. After bathing, cutting his hair, and chanting the words, all hope seemed to be lost. Alone in the room, Jon Snow suddenly woke up from the dead.

According to IGN, David J. Peterson, the creator of the High Valyrian language, posted the full official translation to his official Tumblr blog. The language expert mentions since the dialogue was mostly Dothraki, Final Draft doesn't allow macrons. All the long vowels were scrubbed in the text.

Peterson explains, "So, last night we saw Jon Snow pop back to life (despite still having holes in his body) all thanks to Melisandre. This is what she said (in High Valyrian)"

Here is the text of the entire prayer:

Zȳhys ōñoso jehikagon Āeksiot epi, se gīs hen sȳndrorro jemagon.

"We ask the Lord to shine his light, and lead a soul out of darkness."

Zȳhys perzys stepagon Āeksio Ōño jorepi, se morghūltas lȳs qēlītsos sikagon.

"We beg the Lord to share his fire, and light a candle that has gone out."

Hen sȳndrorro, ōños. Hen ñuqīr, perzys. Hen morghot, glaeson.

"From darkness, light. From ashes, fire. From death, life."

Game of Thrones continues Sundays on HBO at 9pm.

Readers, what do think of Melisandre's prayer?
