With Cinco de Mayo and May The Fourth Be With You back-to-back, there is no better way than to join the celebration with Fandango's Star Wars Day Tribute. To honor of the George Lucas films and Star Wars characters, check out how artist Jose Emroca Flores gives them a Latino twist.

According to his official website, Jose Emroca Flores attended the Academy of Art in San Francisco  to develop his style as a visual artist. The Northern Nevada native has gained work as a visual development artist in the entertainment industry. The freelance artist has participated in  films, games, animation, books, advertising, and his original oil paintings have been displayed in galleries.

From the Fandango site, Flores was asked to reimagine the characters of Star Wars. The illustrator would combine the celebrations of Cinco de Mayo and May the Fourth Be with You. The mash-up includes Darth Vader, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Boba Fett, Chewbacca, R2-D2 and more.

Flores describes the piece, "I imagined the buildings in Puebla were secretly spaceships that would take off in a moments notice. Mexico would also have their version of Lukas Eskywalkers, Princesa Leia and Chuey."

Readers, can also check out the latest installment of Star Wars: The Force Awakens and the rest of the Star Wars saga on FandangoNOW.

As we previously mentioned, the seventh installment of the Star Wars franchise is set approximately 30 years after the events of Return of the Jedi. The end of Darth Vader's reign came with a price for both our heroes and villains. Stepping in for Darth Vader, Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) is trying to fill the empty void left by The Emperor. The rise of the First Order forces the reunion of old faces, including Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), and new ones, including Finn (John Boyega) and Rey (Daisy Ridley).
