Based on the 2007 Paramount feature film, of the same starring Mark Wahlberg, USA Network has released the official trailer for Shooter. Check out the first look at Cynthia Addai-Robinson (Arrow), Ryan Phillippe (Crash), and Omar Epps (House) in the USA drama.

As we perviously mentioned, the USA drama is inspired by author Stephen Hunter's novel, Point of Impact. The plot revolves around an ex-Marine sniper, Bob Lee Swagger (Phillippe), who is recruited to thwart a presidential assassination. Swagger hen becomes framed for the heinous crime.

The Wood actor, Omar Epps, has landed the role of Swagger's former commanding officer-turned-Secret Service agent Isaac Johnson. After Swagger is put into action, Johnson (Epps) is ultimately the person responsible for the double-cross and framing him for the assassination attempt.

After kicking butt as Amanda Waller in Arrow, Addai-Robinson will be seen as Nadine Memphis. In the storyline, Nadine Memphis (Robinson) happens to be an intuitive and determined FBI agent. Unfortunately, for the highly skilled agent, Nadine's headstrong personality has gotten her in trouble with the bureau in the past.

As the arresting officer of the would-be-assassin, Nadine is on the fast track for a promotion, but something tells her there's more to this case. Not realizing the depth of the conspiracy, Memphis unwittingly puts both her her life in jeopardy. If you have seen the movie, the role was originally played by Michael Pena (Ant-Man).

According to Deadline, USA Network released the trailers for its new drama series, which is part of the network's 2016-17 series orders. The highly anticipated trailer was presented at the conclusion of NBCUniversal's upfront presentation in New York.

Shooter will premiere on USA Network Tuesday, July 19 at 10pm.
