The CW Network has brought together the heroes and villains of the DC Universe in the superhero drama, DC's Legends of Tomorrow. This is the perfect opportunity to check out Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell) in episode 14 through 16.

As we previously mentioned, the stakes have risen so high that heroes alone are not enough. Having seen the apocalyptic future, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) is tasked with assembling a misfit group of heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat. To save time itself and the entire planet from destruction, can this ragtag team defeat the immortal Vandal Savage (Casper Crump)?

Check out our 5 thoughts on Legends of Tomorrow Episodes 14-16 here:

1) Father & Son!

What this critic loved in River of Time is the surrogate father/son relationship between the Martin Stein (Victor Garber) and Jax (Franz Drameh). Martin would do anything for Jax, even if it meant sacrificing himself. With Jax suffering from radiation poisoning, Stein's only choice was to send him back to the past. Plus the good guys lose in the end!

2) Worst Couple Ever!

In the same episode, Kendra (Ciara Renee) was cheating on Ray Palmer with Carter Hall (Falk Hentschel). Let's just say, this relationship was the worst part of the freshmen season and this writer is glad the show ended it!

3) No Strings On Me!

Destiny teased the death of Heat Wave and the Atom (Brandon Routh). It was Captain Cold who sacrificed himself in the end and took out the Time Masters in a huge explosion. Before he blew himself up, Cold got a kiss from White Canary. Just when we were shipping Captain Canary!

4) Saddest Ending Ever!

After Vandal Savage was killed three times in Legendary, the conclusion gave us so much feels! First, White Canary (Caity Lotz) had to deal with Laurel Lance's death. Then Heat Wave had to say his goodbye to Captain Cold. Mick repeated the same words The Flash said, "You're a hero to me." That scene played the same heartbreaking music when Cold had to put down Heat Wave.

5) The Justice Society of America!

As we previously mentioned, we knew Patrick J. Adams (Suits) would be playing a superhero but we didn't know he' be playing Rex Tyler aka Hourman. Before the Justice League, there was Doctor Fate, the Spectre, the Sandman, and Green Lantern. Does this mean we'll be seeing more members in  the second season?

DC's Legends of Tomorrow will return to the CW for Season 2.
