The Walking Dead Season 7 Spoilers: Is Norman Reedus/Daryl Dixon In Negan's "New World?"

Fans have been left shaken and stirred up after AMC aired the Season 6 finale of The Walking Dead? By the time Season 7 airs its premiere, will we watch Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) become part of Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan)'s "brand new world?"

In our previous recap, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Morgan (Lennie James) went off in search of Carol, while Daryl (Norman Reedus) left Alexandria to seek revenge for Denise's death. Unfortunately, with Glenn and Michonne captured by the Saviors, Dwight had the upper-hand and shot Daryl at point-blank range. Rick came back to Alexandria empty-handed, but only to hear Maggie screaming in pain.

In our recent recap, with Maggie (Lauren Cohan)'s health deteriorating, Rick and the group needed to get her to the Hilltop community, but the roads were blocked by the Saviors. Arriving in the nick of time, Morgan saved Carol (Melissa McBride) as he shot down her stalker. Finally captured by the Saviors, Rick and the others met with their diabolical leader, Negan. In the cliffhanger, Negan beat someone from Rick's team to death with Lucille, but we don't know which one.

In an interview with TV Line, the Boondock Saints actor teases, "It's a completely brand-new world right now," teases the actor. "It's very exciting. And it's emotional. And then it's overwhelming and emotional!"

Reedus adds, "So for us, it doesn't feel like just a spoiler, it feels like a moment that really happened. And if there's a death involved, it's kinda weird to talk about it. It's like going to our friend's funeral or going possibly to our own funeral! It's not like, 'Hey, how are you? Want a selfie? Let me tell you about the funeral I was just at... '"

The Walking Dead will return on AMC for Season 7. Ride with Norman Reedus premieres on AMC June 12 at 10pm.
