Zoo Season 2 PHOTOS: Billy Burke, James Wolk, Kristen Connolly Premiere Spoilers!

CBS has added a new cast member to the upcoming Season 2 of Zoo. In the upcoming June premiere date, will Joanne Kelly end up meeting Jackson Oz (James Wolk) and Jamie Campbell (Kristen Connolly) when the the animal crisis grows to an epic scale?

As we previously mentioned, Zoo is an adaptation of Kiss the Girls author James Patterson's bestselling novel, based on the same name. Jackson Oz (Wolk) is a renegade American zoologist who discovers the animals going crazy while overseeing safaris in Africa. Oz begins to notice animals exhibiting strange behavior as they start attacking humans. The events are occurring all over the world, especially in the United States, where reporter Jamie Campbell (Connolly) and sidekick Mitch (Billy Burke) are also in danger.

We also mentioned, the Warehouse 13 actress has landed a recurring role in the sophomore season. Allison (Joanne Kelly) happens to be the Deputy Secretary of Defense. The Deputy Secretary is seeking a solution to the growing animal crisis. Alison also shares a surprising history with Mitch (Billy Burke).

According to TV Line, the exclusive photos feature the new characters will be joining as series regulars. Logan (Josh Salatin) is a mysterious stranger Jamie Campbell encounters. Jamie suspects Logan might be holding a dangerous secret from her. Dariela (Alyssa Diaz) is part of a military unit. The team encounters a strange and troubling new development in the animal mutation.

During the CBS summer press event, Wolk states "My favorite part of television is characters, watching people interact. And this year we have three new great characters that are entirely different and add to the show."

The Mad Men actor adds, "The audience won't be sure where Logan stands - is he with the team or is he against us?"

Season 2 of Zoo premieres on CBS Tuesday, June 28 at 9 pm, with a two-hour episode special.
