Ever since the brand split during the WWE Draft, Raw and Smackdown live has been going toe to tow to who's the better wrestling brand. Before Clash of Champions, Smackdown had their own pay per view called Backlash.

Clash of Champions is Raw's first pay per view. Backlash was an amazing pay per view and everything going on there feels like a main event. Monday Night Raw has been focusing very much on their main event stars. This is basically what makes Raw shine equally to Smackdown live.

The speculations of The Authority coming back has yet to be confirmed but ever since Triple H's return to help out in the favour of Kevin Owens. This leaves their old favourite, Seth Rollins, in the back burner.

According to Forbes, during Seth Rollins vs Kevin Owens, a referee got accidentally hit by Seth Rollins when Kevin Owens attempted a pop up power bomb. Seth Rollins landed a pedigree. But there was no referee to count his victory. Stephanie Mchmahon shows up and gets a replacement referee seemingly just at the right time for Kevin Owens to land his finisher.

According from a different source, it has been reported as well that Seth Rollins has a slight rib injury during one of the moves Kevin Owens pulled on Seth Rollins. During September 26 Monday Night Raw, this was added to the story line not being able to make Seth Rollins compete or come in the wrestling ring by any means.

So, where is the WWE Clash of Champions main event scene going? Well, definitely the rivalry between Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins will continue. The Authority angle may show up once again and having Seth Rollins against them. It could also be rumoured that now that Seth Rollins if a babyface, it is not far that he can team up with the like of other babyfaces of Raw like Roman Reigns.
