Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth: Wedding Postponed, Miley Spotted Sans Engagement Ring Again On Twitter [News Update]

While sources continue to say that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have postponed their marriage, it appears the situation may be more serious than we thought. Miley posted a pic to her Twitter that clearly shows her without her engagement ring once again.

The pic shows Miley kissing her hairstylist on the cheek and holding a Coke bottle in her left hand, with her massive engagement ring conspicuously absent.

Miley has been spotted without her engagement ring several times since the rocky patch between herself and fiancé Liam Hemsworth started. When Hemsworth jetted off to his home of Australia, Cyrus was spotted without her engagement ring several times.

Though Miley later claimed she was having the ring repaired and showed off the ring on Twitter, she was spotted without it again while she partied in Miami. At the same time, Liam was caught chatting up a mystery woman in Los Angeles.

After that, there were reports that Liam was asking Miley about the possibility of an open relationship.

"No way in hell are they having an open relationship! That's not the way Miley was raised, she has morals," an unnamed insider told HollywoodLife.

"She's making sure that she gives Liam his space because she doesn't want to be needy and they're still working through stuff, but there's absolutely no chance she'd agree to an open relationship," the source added.

"Miley is going through a wild phase, but she's still the same girl underneath and she really believes in true love and soul mates and it's just ridiculous to think she'd agree to that kind of arrangement!"

Now, we have inside sources telling Life and Style that the wedding has been postponed.

"They were supposed to get married in June," an unnamed insider told Life&Style. "But there have been so many problems with them."

"They thought it was best to work out their issues before making such a big commitment. Everyone keeps it saying it - they're too young to be getting married."

It seems that even father Billy Ray Cyrus is doubtful that the couple will make it down the aisle.

"I didn't know the answer. They're young. They're kids. The great news is, they're great friends. They're really, really good friends. If you end up getting married, that's your business too, you know?" Cyrus said in an interview with ABC News.

"I don't know. I really don't," he said. "I play it by ear and I know whatever is meant to be, that's the way it's going to happen."

Neither Miley nor Liam have confirmed a postponing of their wedding.
