A tormenting disease is now haunting the amazing singer Barbara Streisand that affects her balance and moods and may be cause for her life to end.

According to CelebFresh, Streisand, a 74-year-old diva caught the virus when she was still a child, she's now battling a serious irreparable ear condition that causes terrible  whimpering in her head - a sound that only she can hear.

RADAR Online said the illness is known as tinnitus (TIN-ih-tus) a ringing or noise in the ears, it is not an illness itself but rather a symptom of a much serious condition.
Barbara said that she started to hear noises when she was on 6th grade, and she put scarves around her head so she could block them out or possibly not to hear it.

The inevitable noises in her head caused the diva to collapse and disrupting her sleeping habits. And also she's blaming her angry outburst on her mini-tour. According to the singer she tried all things possible such as white noise machines and masking devices yet nothing worked.

When she's having a concert the applauding of the audience helps to drown the wailing, but when she pauses it only gets worse. The singer is bothered that this may cause to lose her hearing and she is also tormented that this may claim her life.

Also, Streisand is haunted by the threat that it could be a brain tumor, she told her husband, James Brolin and friends she's frightened that the illness will kill her.

All of us fear death, all of us refuse to believe in the inevitable fact that we will all die.
But situations like Streisand's, she's been given a fighting chance I wish that she would be courageous enough to seek help and medication.
