Stranger Things revolved with a story of a 12-year-old boy named Will Byers living in a small town of Hawkins, Indiana. Will vanished after he encountered a creature while riding his bicycle home from a D&D (Dungeons & Dragons) session with his friends.

Joyce (Wynona Ryder) Will's mother searched, and Police Chief Jim Hopper (David Harbour) launched his own investigation. Will's friends Dustin, Mike, and Lucas met psychokinetic (Psychokinesis is a psychic ability allowing a person to influence a physical system without having physical contact.)

They named her "El" short for Eleven. She claims that she knows where Will is located as they reveal the truth about the devilish act that the government agency tries to hide. So, rumours are now circulating that they already started shooting for the Season 2, according to Mirror UK and the release that will be in July 2017.

Season 2 is basically the continuation of the first season/ Matt Duffer creator of Stranger Things said that a lot of big mysteries were answered at the end of Season 1. But there will be new mysteries that will credit the future stories.

Digital Trends posted that the Duffer Brothers confirmed the season 2 with a teaser including 9 episodes and titles.

Another spoiler reveals that "El" or Eleven is alive. From Season 1, no one knows if El is alive or dead after she vanished with the creature. But surely she is alive but in a different form.

The 2nd season and maybe including the 3rd if there will be, will focus more on what is really happening in Upside Down. What's inside the Upside Down, why is there only one monster, or if there are others, too. Ross Duffer disclosed that they have a 30-page document key answers to all the question about the upside down.

Stranger Things will likely premiere around July 2017.  Mark that day!
