MacBook Pro 2016 launch just around the corner; Mac's 5K display comes to life

If there is a laptop that has been rumored for long, then it's the MacBook Pro 2016. People are just eager to see the Mac's 5K display come to life. The hope is that Apple will launch this device in October, most probably on October 27 and it might do this just at the verge of Microsoft's launch of their Surface Pro 5.

Remember, Microsoft is totally wrangling with Apple's MacBook Pro and actually isn't hiding its hostility. The argument is that, with the Surface Pro 5 featuring the same 5K display in the MacBook Pro, then there isn't a need to buy a Mac in the first place.

Whether Apple decides to get cowed by Microsoft's incessant hostility, or stand their ground by launching the MacBook Pro 2016, the decision is theirs. The only thing that Apple should know is that, a good deal of consumers out there aren't really decided on whether to buy the MacBook Pro or the Surface Pro 5.If both devices are launched at the same time, most these people will be tempted to buy the device from whichever company that stages a grand launch.

According to iTechPost, the MacBook pro will feature an additional finger print sensor that might lure most people to buy it. The laptop might also feature the latest AMD graphics chip so as to improve its gaming experience. This chip, which AMD is referring to as the Polaris 11, will be included in almost all subsequent products from Apple this year, inclusive of their iMac 2016.

TechRadar also highlighted another alluring feature in the MacBook Pro 2016, which is an OLED control panel replacement of what we know in previous MacBook laptops. Preceding MacBook Pros have solid function keys for the control panel, but this will be replaced with OLED technology, thus making the Mac Pro 2016 slimmer.

Among other features in the MacBook Pro 2016 are a USB Type-C port, Touch capabilities and perhaps a separable keyboard from the touch screen. This laptop will run on an Intel Skylake processor and users will have several variants to choose from. The MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to be priced between $1099 and $2200.
