iPhone 8 rumors are spreading like wildfire online. Fans speculate that this would be Apple's most powerful phone yet considering that it will be launched on 2017 which marks iPhone's 10 years. Latest reports say that Apple will do a complete overhaul from the phone's outer case to its processor to create a phone that the world has never seen before.

MacRumors has reported Apple's plans on their soon-to-be flagship phone. The report said that iPhone 8 will steal the show with edge-to-edge display minus the top and bottom bezels where the camera and the fingerprint sensor are found. Rumors say that the camera will be found directly into the display and therefore no more Home button.  For years, the dream of an iPhone that looks like a piece of glass may be finally coming true in 2017.

The iPhone 8 will have a 5.5-inch screen or even larger using flexible OLED glass instead of LCD. This means that the device will consume less power and will have a more stunning display with more vibrant colors. The new phone will have a glass body similar to the iPhone 4 instead of using aluminum or stainless steel for a frame.

iTechPost also reported that the iPhone will have a super advanced camera should two new patents revealed by an insider were true. According to the insider, the camera will be able to capture light in a completely efficient way but to be able to do this a major redesign has to be done. The Apple iPhone 8 may adopt a folded camera design so that it could fit into the phone's small body.

Aside from the screen and camera, the iPhone 8 is rumored to use an A11 chip which means the phone will run faster and will be more power-efficient. Other important features worth mentioning are long-range wireless charging and additional security features like iris or facial scanning.

The tech giant is said to be releasing three versions of the iPhone 8; one premium model will have a dual-curve OLED screen while two will have standard flat display screens in 4.7 and 5.5-inch screen models.

Finally popular iPhone 8 rumors speculate the tentative name for the device. It is unlikely that the iPhone 8 will get an "S." Apple's standard iPhone naming rule states that an "S" is placed during odd years to mark internal feature updates while a numeric increase is done during even years to signal a major external design change. But the iPhone 8 will have a complete external redesign despite being launched on an odd year hence it will totally disregard this rule for its 10-year anniversary.
