Actor and producer Leonardo DiCaprio will be possibly working on in an adaptation of Beth Macy's "Truevine: Two Brothers, A Kidnapping", and "A Mother's Quest; A True Story Of The Jim Crow South" which is based on a real story under Paramount.

'Truevine' relies on a true story which happens in 1899 in Virginia. Paramount and DiCaprio's Appian Way are now set to secure all the rights to this new film, as per Slash Film. If this happens, DiCaprio will produce and stars in the role.

Last March, DiCaprio, Appian Way Productions together with Paramount CEO Brad Grey had finalized a three-year first look production to acquire the screen rights to Beth Macy's book. DiCaprio and Appian Way's Jennifer Davisson are ready to produce the film version of the book.

Talking about 'Truevine,' where the story flows around the two African-American albino brothers, George and Willie Muse.  According to The Wrap, the two brothers got separated from their mother when both were taken away when they were young to be displayed as circus sideshow freaks. However, their mother kept on searching them for decades to get them back.

The Muse brothers- George and Willie became a world famous actors, even for performing for royalty at Buckingham Palace. They even headlined over the dozen of sold-out shows at New York's Madison Square Garden which made them the global superstars in the pre-broadcast era.

'Truevine' mixed the world of popularity and poverty, where Beth Macy expertly explores through hundreds of interviews and decades of research to come up with a complicated question. 'Where were the brothers better off? On the world stage as stars or in poverty at home?

"I've had the pleasure of working with Brad and the team at Paramount Pictures on numerous projects throughout my career; DiCaprio said in an interview last March. "I cannot think of a better home for Appian Was as we continue our growth."

Though at this moment, DiCaprio is in a deal with four projects in development with Paramount, he still finds himself interested in producing and stars in the film. His current projects include, "The Devil in the White City," "Sandcastle Empire," a yet untitled film and a limited television series.
