Fans rejoiced when everyone's favorite web-slinger joined the "Captain America", "Iron Man" and the rest of the team in this year's Marvel flick, "Captain America: Civil War". Tom Holland, the youngest actor to wear the red-and-blue spider suit, impressed audiences in the scenes he was in and the post-credits promised that "Spider Man will return". This certainly built the hype for his solo movie coming in 2017.

According to Screenrant during the premiere of Holland's new movie, "The Lost City of Z" at the New York Film Festival, the conversation shifted from the movie he co-stars with Robert Pattinson, to Spidey's new entry, entitled "Spider-Man: Homecoming". Homecoming just finished filming recently and is scheduled for a July 2017 release, and he lets in on some things about the filming, as well as possible future plans.

Regarding wearing the costume, while Holland comments that it was not the best suit to wear in the world, he had to remind himself about the privilege he has on getting the role, and promised to give his best. He also mentioned that he did some of his stunts himself, only letting the stuntmen take over if the stunt is too dangerous for him to do himself.

Screenrush said It has also been revealed that a sequel is also being worked on, though no definite title or release date has been announced. Possibly due to the popularity of the character, fans of the web-head may expect several movies in the upcoming years.

On the possibility of joining the Avengers again on another movie, per Holland, it seems that while the issue is "up in the air", there are no definite deals as of the moment. While a lot of fans may be disheartened by this, especially the possibility that Spidey may not be part of Avengers: Infinity War, the movie is still in early production stages and may change, hopefully for the better.
