‘Arrow’ Season 5 Episode 4 ‘Penance’: Oliver and Lyla goes on a Secret Mission

Images of the fourth episode of "Arrow" Season 5 have just been released. The episode which is titled "Penance" may showcase a major showdown between the Green Arrow and the gangsters as revealed by the photos.

In this week's episode of "Arrow" Season 5, Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and Lyla Michaels (Audrey Marie Anderson) sets out on a secret mission to get Diggle (David Ramsey) out of military prison. Oliver will want to have Diggle join the team, according to a report by iTech Post.

Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) learns of this operation and disapproves. The plan will put both Oliver and Lyla's lives in danger and will violate several laws. Despite Felicity's disapproval, Oliver pursues his plan to free his ally.

Meanwhile, Tobias Church (Chad L. Coleman) wrecks havoc in the city. He wanted to unite all the gangs in Star City and be under his command.

To stop Tobias, Felicity may have to send the new recruits of Team Arrow. However, the new recruits may not be ready to take down the villain without the Green Arrow. Or are they? This resulted to a speculation that an "Arrow" member might die.

In Episode 3 of "Arrow" Season 5, Wild Dog (Rick Gonzalez) went against Oliver's order not to go on field because it could be dangerous for him. Wild Dog still pursued big time drug dealer Garrett Runnels (Cody Rhodes). Wild Dog's stubbornness and trust issues with the Green Arrow might prove to be a boon for the new recruits.

The synopsis of Episode 5 of "Arrow" Season 5 is reported by TV.com. "Oliver turns to old friend Christopher Chance, aka the Human Target, for help when Tobias Church captures and tortures one of Oliver's new recruits. Meanwhile, Felicity's worlds collide when Det. Malone joins the ACU."

"Arrow" airs on The CW every Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. ET. Episode 4 will air on October 26 while Episode 5 will air on November 02.
