Anime fans are excited for One Punch Man's second season, and the first season just ended! Slated for a release between October and November 2016, a lot of spoilers have been circulating the web on what Saitama will be up against. So, what does the second season have for its fans?

According to Itechpost, the upcoming installment will be venturing more into Saitama's backstory, something that the original manga only allotted several scenes to. We will be seeing more of the younger Saitama, back when he still had hair. This will truly help audiences have a better understanding and feel for our hero.

As with enemies, the next season won't have any shortages, either. Known to finish fights with "one punch", it seems that our hero will be meeting his match this time around in the form of Garou. Garou, as reported by iTech Post, is to be the central antagonist of the season's Hero Hunter arc, wherein he vows to destroy the most powerful hero and the Monster Association. Reports also state that Lord Boros, an enemy that Saitama already defeated in season 1, will be back for more action. Wanting to prove that he is the better of the two, a match between Boros and Saitama promises to be a colossal one.

But maybe the most shocking spoiler is that our red-gloved hero maybe facing his first defeat in the hands of Amai Mask. According to GameNGuide, Saitama will be losing his abilities and the long list of enemies may get the better of him. While no definite reason why and how his abilities will diminish, this would sure be an interesting plot twist for our amazing hero.

Scheduled for 19 episodes, 7 more than the first season's 12, and is possible to air on Toonami Adult Swim, seeing that the first season reached critical success, according to Newseveryday. Until its airdate, tHough, rumors would still be rumors and fans are advised to take everything with a grain of salt.
